Our Programs
Empowering communities, transforming lives
Itthiya Foundation's programs address critical issues faced by marginalized communities in Myanmar.
Through targeted initiatives, we empower individuals, foster resilience, and create lasting change.
Preventing, Responding to Violence and Empowering Survivors (PRoVES) Program
Challenging patriarchy and addressing norms
Itthiya believes women and LGBTQIA are leaders and changemakers driving just and equal society. Through the PRoVES Program, we support locally led, survivor-centered initiatives that prevent and respond to any kind of gender based violence through strengthened resilience, and advance their leadership and transform into agents of change that challenge harmful gender norms and unequal power structures to advance gender justice.
Adolescents' Action for Transformation in Myanmar (AATM) Program
Challenging hierarchy and promoting agency
Adolescents are powerful agents of change today. Through the Adolescents' Actions for Transformation in Myanmar (AATM) Program, Itthiya Foundation works alongside adolescents to strengthen their leadership, promote gender equality, and create opportunities for meaningful participation in shaping peaceful, inclusive, and resilient communities. The programme supports adolescent girls, boys, and gender-diverse young people, particularly those affected by conflict, displacement, and social inequality, to build knowledge, confidence, and collective action.
Feminist Solidarity Program
Challenging toxic culture and promoting movement
The Feminist Solidarity Program aims to strengthen feminist organizations, challenge toxic masculinity and unequal power structures, and contribute to a stronger, more connected feminist movement in Myanmar. Grounded in feminist values and principles, the program supports organizations and movement actors to transform the way we lead, work, collaborate, and create change.
Our programs are the heart of our mission, driving change and creating opportunities for those who need it most.
Join us in building a future of equality and empowerment.
